wake up the sleepers! (again..)

WOOOO!!! today is the official release of kill hannah's album WAKE UP THE SLEEPERS. i highly suggest EVERYONE listen to it. extremely emotional and amazing. definitely their best album!! true art in a modern world that doesn't put as much stock as it should in art.... so yeah, listen to it! ehe..

someone to also check out: mark knopfler, on his album kill to get crimson. DON'T dismiss as old geezer music.... this album is really damn good. its kinda acoustic indy folksy type stuff, quite awesome if your into anything that sounds remotely like it. look it up :)

i just realized... both the things i'm talking about use the word "kill"... go me...lol (i don't take credit for either of these amazing albums. thank my mother for getting kill to get crimson from the library.) thats all for now. gotta do homework that i can't possible procrastinate on any longer.

  1. Wake Up The Sleepers was released on 09/29/09 and the proudest album of Kill Hannah's career. Going back to the way things were when they were doing it themselves,m producing the album themselves and promoting the band after shows themselves, they return to that mentality and give fans what they are really looking for when it comes to their music and what to expect. The title, "Wake Up The Sleepers" is a call to the music industry as is is today, where people are caring less and only looking at the business side and forgetting what its all about; the music. This album is a fantastic mix of dance songs with heavier undertones and darker themes. The lyrics are more in depth and personal and Mat Devine's vocals are on point all the way. This album is completely worth every penny. You may purchase the album at Killhannah.com, iTunes, and amazon.com.

  2. so, so true. emiliecashh stated it far better than i could have ever done :P i sincerely hope everyone takes a chance on this album, because there's NO WAY you could regret it! i've had it on repeat all day, and i STILL am not tired of the huge range of styles and emotions. this is one of the few bands around today that can actually make an entire album that sounds amazing the entire way through. so, just support this great (understatement) band and make your music library even better, and buy this album. plus, i suggest getting the preorder thig off killhannah.com, just because you can get welcome to chicago and the commentary. kill hannah is perhaps the most articulate band i've ever heard lol. they say everything they mean to in exactly the right way, and this album is just SO worth it...seriously...
